Lost Trail Pass

We celebrated getting married this weekend with the boys and Rebekah with a weekend getaway to Salmon, Idaho and snowboarding at Lost Trail.   The timing couldn’t have been more perfect as we left early Saturday morning it was snowing buckets of fresh powder from Missoula all the way to Lost Trail.  By Sunday morning the slopes had a foot of fresh powder.

Shane made arrangements for us to stay at the 100 Acre Wood Lodge where we were greeted with the warmest of hospitality.  Being the off season for them in many ways, it was quiet and restful.  Everyone had a room to themselves making Caleb very happy.   And there was a resident herd of elk right behind the lodge which we watched while sitting in a hot tub.

While Rebekah and Jude hit the slopes, the rest of us spent the day exploring the shops in Salmon along with a lunch at Bertram’s Brewery.  We found an awesome thrift store where everything was 50% off and we loaded up on some pretty awesome finds for a grand total of $18 including Jude’s new super awesome “hot pocket” snuggle.

Thanks, Lori. We are very happy. We both marvel on an almost daily basis how happy we are and thankful we are to have each other. Our life is simple and we spend 24/7 together and we wouldn’t change it for anything.ReplyCancel
